Banking on Essex has a successful day at the first of three ‘Meet the Lenders’ events, helping local businesses with their financial planning for the year ahead. The events have been organised for Essex businesses to meet Banking on Essex partner Santander Corporate Banking to discuss business plans and any financial requirements. All available appointments were booked in advance, and the Banking on Essex team able to accommodate additional sessions for a number of businesses that turned up on the day. Various organisations including FSB and the IOD were also on hand to provide information on the advice and support available to Essex businesses. Lord Hanningfield, Leader of Essex County Council said:“Applying for business finance can sometimes be a daunting task. By attending a Meet the Lender event, the county’s entrepreneurs can visit County Hall to meet business specialists that are on hand to help”.
Two further events are taking place at County Hall, Chelmsford on Thursday 28th January 09:00 to 17:00 and 11th February from 11:00 to 19:00.
