Maldon District Council is working in partnership with Chelmsford Borough Council to provide an outstanding opportunity to experience everything Chelmsford and Maldon has to offer to the business community . It is the 'must visit' business event of the year.The event is designed to illustrate the level of activity and business support, as well as the extensive range of commercial opportunities in both the Maldon and Chelmsford area's. Supported by an ECC grant, this innovative project will enable the district, to connect to fast broadband with throughput speeds of a ground breaking 100Mb/s. Remarkably - no telephone line is required to receive this service - instead it will be delivered through radio transmissions. The launch event will take place in Promenade Park, Maldon at 8.45am on Monday 10 May 2010.

East of England Tourism will be running a series of training courses and environmental advisory visits in the Maldon area as part of its new project 'Sustainable Tourism East'.
