Free Essex Tourism Conference – Beating the CrunchMonday 22 June 2009 – 9:30am – 2:30pmRadisson SAS Hotel, Stansted  Research has indicated that many of you are worried about business over the coming year and we want to help. You are invited to attend a free conference to find out what opportunities are available to the Essex tourism industry. The conference will give guidance and advice on business and funding matters and well as providing useful information and practical ideas. Hear from industry and business support experts and meet with them after in a one to one advice session over lunch. Speakers will include Visit Britain, Essex Tourism, Business Link and Essex County Council. Invitation to the launch of the Maldon District High Speed Broadband Pilot

Supported by an ECC grant, this innovative project will enable the district, to connect to fast broadband with throughput speeds of a ground breaking 100Mb/s. Remarkably - no telephone line is required to receive this service - instead it will be delivered through radio transmissions. The launch event will take place in Promenade Park, Maldon at 8.45am on Monday 10 May 2010.
