Supported by an ECC grant, this innovative project will enable the district, to connect to fast broadband with throughput speeds of a ground breaking 100Mb/s. Remarkably - no telephone line is required to receive this service - instead it will be delivered through radio transmissions. The launch event will take place in Promenade Park, Maldon at 8.45am on Monday 10 May 2010.

LOCAL companies are being invited to put forward all kinds of local food and drink products for the first ever Maldon Food and Produce Festival to be held in September 2009 at Promenade Park, Maldon, which will run alongside the district’s ‘Heritage Open Days Weekend’.
Maldon Farmers’ Market is held on the first Tuesday at the Swan Hotel. High Street, Maldon, supported by local producers and those within a 50-mile radius of Maldon.

I have been appointed by Essex Police to engage, support and facilitate the various groups, organisations and enterprises across the area that seek to reduce crime by prevention or increased detection. The largest and most successful “partner” is Neighbourhood Watch, but there are other groups, for instance, Farm Watch, Pub Watch and Marine Watch.
The Voicettes are shouting from the rooftops following the win of the ‘Outstanding Small Consultancy’ category at the prestigious CIPR Excellence Awards 2008 on 15 September.
